WORK HISTORY:

5/04/1997 - Present        Walt Disney World Port Orleans Riverside Resort - Orlando, Florida

                                   Position: Cabaret Act- Piano/ Comedy

Duties:

Presents a one man cabaret show four nights a week. Bob writes all his own material. Also has subbed playing piano/keyboard in almost all the Disney shows on property, including The Diamond Horseshoe Review, The Hoop De Do Show, and the Tarzan Show. Bob maintains his own monthly e-mail newsletter to more than 2000 friends and fans.

Bob has made eight trips to the UK to perform for corporate events.

 

03/2001 - 3/2008        Pat O'Brien's Universal Citywalk-  Orlando, Florida

Duties-

Dueling pianobar entertainer. The show is request driven, demanding a very large repertoire.

 

 

01/2002 - 07/2009       Auggie's Jammin' Pianos at The Gaylord Palms Hotel - Orlando, Florida

Duties-

Dueling pianobar entertainer. The show wass request driven, demanding a very large repertoire. The show closed in July, 2009.

 

06/2004 - 04/2008      Seafire Inn at Sea World, Orlando

Duties-

Performed in a two piano dinner show. Half the show was songs of the Mediterranean, the other half was request driven. The show closed in April, 2008.

 

04/1994 -  05/1997       Blazing Pianos Show at The Mercado- International Drive, Orlando, Florida

Duties-

Bob was one of the featured entertainers at this great piano show. There were three bright red 7' grand pianos on stage, and the venue was a theatre with a balcony. Bob worked not only the evening shows, but was the leader of all the Senior Matinees.

Bob worked the opening night, and the closing night. The venue closed due to mismanagement.

 

11/1991 - 04/1994   Rosie O'Grady's Goodtime Show - Church Street Station - Orlando, Florida

Duties-

1.) Pianist/ singer for the band

2.) Substitute leader for the band. MC'd the Goodtime Show.

3.) Arranger for the band. The band had four horns and rhythm section.

 

The band fell apart and was unable to regroup.

 

11/1979 - 11/1991     Jazoo!!    Traditional jazz duo with wife Janis

Duties-

played stride, boogie woogie, and ragtime piano.

Studied privately with composer/pianist Dick Hyman

Spent eight Summer/Fall seasons working in Scandinavia  and Switzerland

 

6/1974 - 11/1979    Fairweather Friends     Top  40 band

Duties-

Band leader. Band toured throughout the midwestern United States and Canada.

Band toured Germany, Italy, and Iceland on a USO Tour
